Fall Colors Approach Peak Radiance

Fall colors are superb right now in northern Utah, and at higher elevations through central and southern Utah. The light and color show will peak in northern Utah during the next few days.

Conditions will be perfect this weekend for a drive or hike to enjoy fall’s splendor. The weather will be delightfully warm and dry; roads and trails are in excellent shape. A storm is expected to hit northern Utah early next week. It is expected to drop snow above the 8,000 foot level, and produce rain at lower elevations. That precipitation will knock leaves from trees at high elevations.
