Strawberry Wildlife Festival
Fluorescent red kokanee salmon are a primary draw at this festival - they are highly visible as they move into the Strawberry River to spawn. Displays and workshops on trout fishing and wildlife viewing are also important, along with food, entertainment and other activities. The Festival runs Sept. 23 and 24 at the Strawberry Visitor Center.

Experts will be on hand to help people view and learn about migrating birds of prey at this annual event hosted by the Utah Division of Wildlife Resources. It will be held Sept. 24 at the Orem Overlook along Squaw Peak Road, east of Orem.
