Volunteers Needed To Plant Trees In Scenic Utah Areas

TreeUtah is looking for volunteers to help plant trees around Alta Ski Area, Snowbird Ski & Summer Resort and Wheeler Farm (in Salt Lake City).

The planting events will take place on these dates and at these times:
  • Alta: Saturday, September 7th, from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.
  • Snowbird: Thursday, September 12th, from 8 a.m. to noon
  • Wheeler Farm: Friday, September 20th, from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m.

TreeUtah is a non-profit organization seeking to plant trees and also "inspire and empower our communities to become active, knowledgeable stewards of our natural environment."

"Since 1990, TreeUtah has planted more than 325,000 trees with the help of over 125,000 volunteers around Utah. We need your help to maintain and increase our urban forests... (to) help us to continue to plant, care for and protect trees in our communities."
