Spring hiking and fishing

I hiked in Arches National Park over the weekend. The weather was partly cloudy and mild - ideal for hiking. I was playing tour guide for a group from Bolivia. They weren’t in shape for serious hiking and so we just did some of the easy classics – short hikes to Delicate Arch and Landscape Arch. They loved the red rock and interesting formations. Now's a great time to hike in our National Parks and desert areas.

Fishing conditions are improving daily across the state. Walleye are becoming active in Utah Lake and Willard Bay and will provide great sport fishing action during the next few weeks. Check out our recently updated fishing forecast.
