Top 10 Outdoor Activities In Utah
What is your favorite outdoor activity
in Utah?
Many people would say skiing,
and that would certainly be on my list, but there are many, many
other great choices.
Local writer Brett Prettyman penned
this
article published in The Guardian (UK) in which he gives the top
10 as listed below. There is no mention of whether this is his
personal "best of list", or if he used some criteria to
come up with a generalized consensus. Regardless, these are all
must-does, in my opinion.
- Hike to Angels Landing in Zion National Park
- Greatest Snow on Earth (skiing)
- Hiking to Delicate Arch in Arches National Park
- Mountain biking the White Rim Trail in Canyonlands National Park
- Sailing on the Great Salt Lake
- Astronomy at Bryce Canyon National Park
- Birding on the Bear River Migratory Bird Refuge
I know Brett and so I'm surprised the
list doesn't include anything on boating/fishing Lake Powell or any
mention of hunting sports.
Still, I think it is a great list
highlighting some of Utah's best.
What do you think? What would be on
your best activities list?
